I had been waiting all day for the chance to go pick up Kate. The only thing I had wanted was for us to be alone; however, her parents were coming back with her to look after Amelie while we were away. Deciding to have a night alone with Kate, I had one of my Pack warriors come along in a separate SUV to take her parents back to the Silver Crescent Pack, while I surprised Kate with a night out before we spend the day with Amelie tomorrow.
I had a condo in the city, which we often stayed at when we went to shows or had meetings in the city. There was a new restaurant in town, I wanted to take her to. And frankly I had missed her the past couple weeks and wanted to have her to myself.
