Three days slowly passed again and I still didn't hear from Danny, I became worried as I wondered what is keeping him so distant. It might be work but it's unlike Dan not to call me for more than a week.
The following week, I decided to call him and figure out what's wrong. Or doesn't he want to be friends with me anymore? I couldn't place it.
Immediately I got home, I went into my room, dropped my bag, and sat on my bed with my phone in my hand.
I inhaled deeply and dialed his number. As I waited patiently, his phone began to ring on the other side. At first, he didn't pick and my heart dropped not knowing what to do. Is he ignoring my call now? I implored in great confusion as I decided to dial his number again, if he doesn't pick this time, I will let him be.
