The school bell rang signifying the end of the third period, it's lunchtime and honestly, I am so hungry.
I quickly stood up from my seat as I, Bella, and Pearl glanced at ourselves as we giggled in a union. We head out to the cafeteria with our bags over our shoulders as I couldn't wait to put something in my stomach, as we walked towards the cafeteria, the dream I had the previous night crawled into my mind for the 100th time and it is really disturbing but I try to brush it off, after all, it's just a dream.
"Hey, look" Bella pointed at someone bringing me back to reality, as I perked up, I saw Pearl giggling, her right hand covered her Louth as her eyes lightened in excitement.
"Here comes your crush, "Bella announced to Pearl who blushed staring at the coach who stood at a distance talking to the school principal. "Isn't he dreamy," Pearl exclaimed staring at him. We sat down placing our food gently on the table we picked, Pearl rested her head on her hand, her eyes still fixed on the coach, and sighed dreamily.
"Wait until he is all mine" Pearl let out as she began to play with her hair, "What a dream come true, I just can't wait," she let out biting her lower lip as she touched her chest seductively.
I laughed and rolled my eyes at her words. "Don't you think he is a bit old for you, you just turned sixteen", I said with a smile fixed on my lips. Pearl looked at me and smirk with one of her eyebrows raised. "And so" she picked up a napkin from the side of her tray, "He is just 24, not that old, perhaps I have a thing for older men, not young teenage boys who just want to mess around," she said placing a chip into her mouth.
"You slut", Bella laughed and playfully tapped her shoulder "You have gone deep into him for you to know his age, well" she turned to look at me, " I don't think he is that old for her Sandra, it's not like he is a 60 years old man" She turned to Pearl with a naughty expression on her face, "I bet he is also good in bed," she winked as her blue eyes sparkled in the delight of the thought, she and Pearl laughed with enthusiasm.
"You girls are dreamers, do you think he will be interested in you," I said staring at them with my fingers wrapped around my soda.
Pearl looked at me "What do you mean Sandra, no guy has ever rejected me" She asserted, her eyes fixed on me.
Smiling, I sat up and sipped my soda, looked at them, and smiled, "What if he is married", I raised an eyebrow at them as I started at their surprised face.
Bella gasped and looked at Pearl who looked terrified at what I just said. "Didn't you think of it", I continued still drinking my soda as I looked at her.
"Well..."Pearl said looking down at her food, suddenly she had a smirk on her face and she turned to me. "If he is truly married..." she glanced at Bella and bit her lower lip "Then, I don't mind being his mistress" she giggled.
"You are indeed a slut Pearl" Bella praised laughing. I just smiled.
"Come to think of it," Bella suddenly let out turning her gaze at me.
"Think of what"I asked puzzled with my eyes opened wondering what she is about to say.
"What about Max? what was your reply to him, you haven't said anything concerning his proposal. Honestly, I can't wait for you to say yes to him, you know, he is the captain of the football team, girl...you are so lucky," she exclaimed excitedly.
"No" The smile on my face disappeared, "I said no to him," I said immediately not looking at her.
"You said what!!" Bella and Pearl shouted in chorus gazing at me like I just committed a crime. Other students in the cafeteria turned to us with mixed expressions.
" You heard right" I stared at them seriously, "It's a No for me, I can't date him, he does not interest me, I don't have feelings for him, so it's a no". I affirmed at them.
"Urgh! Not again" Pearl let out disappointed. "But look at the positive side Sandra, he is cute, nice, tall, and has a dreamy body, he is the kind of guy most girls in our school wish to date" she tried convincing me with appealing eyes.
"Come off it" I stopped her, "It's not like he is the most charming of all guys, please don't start" I placed my soda picking up a napkin, "I know he is cute, nice, and all that but I don't like him. It's a No for me and that's it". I asserted not minding their reaction as they both glared at me with defeated eyes. "Alright, if you say so", Pearl replied with a hint of disappointment in her tone. I just smiled and we quickly changed the topic.
Finally, school activities came to an end after the last period which was literature class. Pearl came to Bella and I announced that she is heading to Mr. Mike's office (Coach). I just smiled and wished her good luck. My sister called saying that she has to go to Charles's home so there isn't any need to wait for her.
Giggling, I and Bella walked towards the school gate. Getting there, we met Bella's brother waiting patiently as he waved at us. Of course, he is here to pick Bella and clearly, I have to walk home alone.
Turning to me, Bella held my hand "Hope you will be fine alone" She glared at me sadly.
"Yeah" I replied smiling, "it's fine, you can go" Saying this, I hugged her and watched as she entered the car. Bella turned and waved at me as I stood watching the car zoom oof.
Tugging my school bag behind me, I felt uneasy as I took a step. I glanced down at my feet and realized my shoelace is undone. Sighing as I rolled my eyes, I bent down to tie it perfectly.
Making sure everything is well done, I stood up as my eyes caught something immediately.
I narrowed my eyes confused as a familiar face came out of a black Range Rover opposite my school building as the figure faced the coffee shop in front of it.
To my surprised, the young man who proceeded from the car turned his gaze in my direction, his eyes written in an expression I couldn't explain.
Immediately, our eyes locked together and at the sight of him, I gasped in awe as my knee grew weak.
"O, No!" I mumbled with enlarged eyes as I froze at that point realizing what just happened.
