Alex pulled off the gravel road and onto a paved drive. A very long drive.
“Have you asked Bradley to pull information on Tabitha, Bitsy, and this Blaine guy?” I pulled out my phone, ready to text the master of cyber-research.
“I haven’t, and you won’t. These aren’t humans, Mallory. He shouldn’t be digging into their covers online. Not yet, and not unless we can give him a targeted search. But have him pull the police report, if he can. I doubt it will have any new information, but better to check. And if he can get that girl’s name, the witness who found Tabitha’s body, then have him pull a full background on her.” After a brief hesitation, he said, “And Gladys’s calls, incoming and outgoing, this morning.”
