-Raven- Dinner was unusual this evening. Cole was eating with us, and, strangely enough, he seemed to fit right in. He and my father quickly struck up a conversation. My father, eager to learn more about him and his thoughts on becoming king, engaged him enthusiastically. It was clear my father was already thinking about how to protect the village, but I didn’t believe he had any reason to fear Cole. The prince had changed, and I saw that more clearly now than ever. Cole also asked my father about the village and how he managed it. Now that he was no longer the stubborn, angry prince, he seemed genuinely eager to learn more.
