I watched Raven as she tended to the horses in a small pen near the village. She brushed one of them and let the others eat the hay she had brought. Each time our eyes met, her cheeks grew redder, and I couldn’t help but smile.
It was astonishing to see how a simple glance from me could make such a difference in her, and while I was eager to explore how much more I could make her blush, I knew this wasn’t the right time or place.
