-Cole- I probably shouldn’t have tried to get up, but I was growing restless from being confined to this bed for so long. The inside of the tent felt stifling, and I was eager to escape its confinement. But every movement was more painful than I could describe, and each small shift felt like it took an eternity. But I managed to sit up, breathing heavily and covered in sweat, determined to stand. I grasped the edge of the bed, my hands gripping tightly as I pushed myself up with a groan.
