Sweet Rapture with Her

1733 Words
Noah’s PoV Something’s wrong with Kendra. I can’t explain it. Was she thinking about backing out? Either way, I had to make this morning right for her. I nestled back in my car seat, tapping a finger on the steering wheel. f**k. The area under my belt buckle grew tight. I was also sweaty. I sniffed my armpits, grateful for the shower I had, and applied men's deodorant. But still, a splash of cologne might make Kendra more comfortable. At exactly fifteen minutes, a petite girl in a black coat and backpack strolled to my car. I sat straight as She climbed inside, buckling her seatbelt. Kendra Drake looked at me, her expression twisting into a wince. “Why are you smiling?” Shit. I quickly gunned the ignition and rolled the car onto the road. Then it got really quiet. I didn’t have the urge to turn on the radio. Ten minutes later, I slowed the car down upon entering the quiet street, and parked in the dorm's driveway. Kendra flinched. “Wait, where’s the dorm?” I pointed to the house. “Right here.” She threw on her hood, as we climbed out. “Noah, this isn’t a dorm. It’s a freaking house!” She whispered. I shoved my key into the door lock. “Um, yeah, my roommate and I christened it the Dorm. We thought it would be a nice space for the family to drop by without a hitch.” Kendra sighed. “Right, you trust fund babies and your many problems.” I pretended not to hear that. I led her inside, traveling upstairs to my room with her hand squeezed under mine. Her mouth dropped. I narrowed my eyes. “What? Is there a problem?” “Um, that’s a chandelier.” She pointed at the gold ornament hanging above. Not fully understanding her shock, I stretched my hand. “May I take your coat?” She peeled off her backpack and coat, dumping the entire thing on the couch. Then she stepped into my arms, angled her head, our lips connected fully. I tasted mint mixed with strawberries, grabbing her hips. I’ve never had someone so enticing like her. “Hmm.” Kendra moaned, reaching for my belt buckle. My pants dropped to my ankle, she pushed me so I collapsed on the couch where she straddled me. Her hands quickly got the band of my boxers. Damn it. My c*ck sprung ready. “Kendra?” She pulled out a pack of protection, smirking. “Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.” The moment her very cold hands captured me, I sat up, even though I hated it, and removed her hand. “Wait,” I protested. “Just stop.” She looked hurt and confused. “O’Shea, you’re not one of those idiots who don’t believe in safety, are you?” “I do,” I took her chin. “but I also believe in taking this slow.” She dipped her head, groaning. “Boring, I thought you wanted me.” She kissed me again, and I returned it. “Yeah, but…” “But again?” Kendra pulled away. “Listen O’Shea, I have to get home and do a lot of stuff, so if you’re developing a case of cold feet…” I gently took her hand and wrapped it around my c*ck. A small breath came from her. “Not even a little bit,” I said, “I mean, I want some communication, is that okay?” Kendra released a long-suffering sigh before nodding. “Tell me what you like, Kendra.” I said, tracing a finger down her neck, her eyes sealed shut, sinking delicate fingers to the back of mine. “Um…” I kissed her chin. “All the filthy things you want me to do to you.” Her brown eyes spilled open in wonder. I liked the way she blushed like a wallflower. “Are you a virgin?” I whispered incredulously. She was half-laughing. “I just grabbed you like a slut, and that's not exactly virgin material.” I had a million words to say but Kendra’s totally vanquished them. Also, did she just call herself a slut? “It’s your call,” I managed. She toyed with a lock of my hair. “Um, I guess I’d like to stay on top,” she murmured, her fingers tightening the lock. Yes. I gave a nod, urging her to continue. “And grab your butt so often,” she added. I couldn’t help the grimace twitching on my face. She raised a brow, smirking defiantly. “Is that a good start?” I blinked. “Uh…yeah.” We began to tear off each other’s clothes. Underneath, she had a blue cotton bra and red panties. “Shoot,” She swore against my mouth, as I unhooked the bra. “They were supposed to match.” I could tell her that I didn’t care but my tongue caught her budding n****e. She inhaled sharply as I went to work, she writhed above me, touching my face, all the way to my chest. “…Now Noah,” she moaned. I eased her hips up, ready. She sank down. Oh God. She was so wet and tight. The shock of the pleasure coursing through my body didn’t leave me until Kendra began rocking. Her fingertips clenched around my shoulder blades. Our moans exploded in a rhythmic melody, muffled by lips nipping at each other. And then we both came, still clinging on to sweaty bodies and engulfed by the sweet rapture. She pushed her forehead to mine. I gazed at Kendra, she untangled her legs from mine. “Where’s the bathroom?” She demanded breathlessly. I pointed at the door, but she was already moving in that direction fast. I heard water running. I sat at the edge of the bed, burying my head between my palms. f**k. Did she hate it? I found a folded piece of paper on the floor among her discarded coat. I picked it up, smoothing out the wrinkles at the edges. “A receipt?” I muttered, my eyes widening at the five-thousand-dollar payout. Kendra’s phone began to ring somewhere among her pile of clothes. “Drake?” I called, retrieving it from her coat. The caller ID sent a sharp spike into my head. Right at that moment, Kendra walked out of the bathroom with my navy towel around her chest. “Is that my phone?” She frowned, snatching away the receipt. “And…geez, did you just go through my stuff?” “Answer the phone.” I handed it back to her, folding my arms. Simon was a fairly common name. What were the chances it was…Warrington. Kendra’s look of surprise wasn’t helping. I sat at the edge of the bed, waiting. The phone finally stopped belting a tune. “Why would you do that?” She asked. “I thought that paper was trash or something, Kendra.” She raised a palm. “You know what? Screw this.” She scrambled for her underwear. Damn it to hell. We weren’t even dating. “That was Warrington, wasn’t it?” She stayed quiet. “Kendra…” “Just leave me be.” I stood, tying that towel around my hip. “No, you’re gonna answer the f*****g question. Did he put you up to this?” She zipped up her pants, turning red. Anger simmered in my head. “Jesus…how much did he pay you to make a fool out of me? You’re not leaving until I get my answer.” “My God, you’re delusional if you think I slept with you for money!” “Oh!” I barked. “You had my phone for God knows how long—what do you expect me to think Kendra?” She slipped on her coat, pupils constricting as she turned white as snow. The post-coital warmth fled the room instantly. Sensing the chill, I took a step back and the last thing I needed was more problems. A look of betrayal filled her expression. “Noah, wait…fine, Simon’s…my ex-boyfriend. Are you happy now?” I scowled at her. “How could I possibly be happy? Is this some kind of a sick joke?” “Because I’m laughing right now?” She glared at me. “In a matter of hours, the police are coming to get me because I lost his grandmother’s pendant. And I have to get it back. I don’t know where to begin. So yeah, does it still feel like a joke?” I should kick her out the door. My jaw tightened. This was f*****g ridiculous. All this time, she’d been upset over Simon. Of their history together. “So, what? You pawned it?” I asked foolishly. She shrugged. “Not really, it’s complicated.” I scoffed. “No kidding.” “What’s the matter with you O’Shea? A minute ago you were…” “An idiot.” I finished, turning away. The door flung open, and I saw Kendra rushing out. “Where are you going?” I asked. “Home.” She replied, stomping down the hallway. I swore. Perfect. * * * * * * I didn't waste a second throwing on my clothes and jumped into my car. Unless she took a cab home, I had no idea where I was headed. My adrenaline levels were spiking fast. To my relief, Kendra was walking down the sidewalk a few blocks away. The car slowed by her, I rolled down the windows. “Get in,” I called. “No thank you.” “So now what? You’re going to jail over some pendant.” “Looks like it.” “Bullshit Kendra, get into the car, now.” She paused, facing me, then simply crashed into the passenger’s seat, slamming the door. “Give me the receipt.” I said, holding out my palm. Kendra slapped the paper on it. “I hate this. Don’t order me around.” I searched the store’s address and typed the entire thing into my car’s GPS. [Confirm Destination: Chicago, Illinois.] “What are you doing?” Kendra questioned. I gripped the steering wheel. “Buckle up,” I said. “We’re going on a road trip.”
