*SHOT SHOT SHOT* *Silence*   "You are really getting the hang of that new gun I gave you yesterday" my father said proudly. "I am" i said trying to hide my competitive facial expression.   "You know, I am looking forward to working alongside you next year, when you graduate" "Me too dad" My dad has been saving a space for me in his firm once I graduate, Yesterday was the last day of my internship. I had spent the last month following my dad around trying to learn the trade. At some point I am to take over the business my dad build from ground up. Honestly, I mostly just wanted the money that followed. "You did great this month I love that working spirit of yours" he said with a smile covering his whole face.   It was not often he spoke that highly of me, but when he did, I took it all in. My dad was more the 'tough love' kind of guy.    A knock sounded on the door, and my dad’s assistant walked in. She walked up to my dad and told him about some rushed meeting at the firm. He turned to me again. *Sorry son, gotta go. See you at dinner?" "No, I won't be home for dinner, Marcus and I are going out tonight" "Okay see you tomorrow"   He then walked off with his assistant right behind him.  Once the door closed, i loaded the gun once again, and emptied the mag for the fourth time today, then left. Outside the firing range, my car (an all-black Range Rover) was parked. While entering the car I dialed Marcus, my best friend since elementary school. "Hey what's up?" he answered after the second ring. "Hey, you up for tonight?"  "Sure, meet me at the club at 8?" "Bring the twins, I'll see you there" I hung up the phone, driving home. I technically still lived with my parents but spend most of my time in the garage in the end opposite from the house. That way I had more privacy. 'My' garage contained its own bathroom, a bedroom, a living space, a small kitchen and a music room, it could even be mistaken for a guest house. I had gotten a music studio installed, since my parents did not like the noise from my guitar whenever I played. It was not like I was in a band or anything, I only played when feeling emotional.  I walked over to my desk and sat down. Since there were still 4 hours until I was supposed to meet up with Marcus and the twins, I went through some of the homework for Monday. Being on the third year came with a lot of reading.   … I went for my car and drove of to meet the guys at the club, the drive took about 20 minutes. Since my dad earns a lot of money, I had paid the owner of the club to get me my own parking space. Yeah I was that kind of guy. I meet Marcus at the entrance and quickly gave him a fist bump, before turning to the twins Ian and André. With a quick nod, we entered the club. Ian and André went over to a waitress to get us a table, our usual table was located on the first floor, so you had a view over the dancefloor and the second bar. “Which table?” I asked as the twins came back. “Our usual” Ian answered. “Let’s go” Marcus said. When we got to our table, we all sat down me next to Marcus and the Twins on the opposite side of the booth. Ian rose from his seat. “I’m going to the bar, anyone want anything?” Ian asked. “Get us some drinks and shots” Marcus answered, looking over the dance floor.   When Ian left, Marcus pointed towards the dance floor… “isn’t that Emma, the one you dated?” he said then looking at me. “Yes, it is” I said coldly, not caring “She still hasn’t forgiven you yet?” “No, apparently not, she hasn’t called me back since last time” “Maybe she just needs to know who is in charge?” André cut in. “Maybe” When Ian came back with drinks for the table, he couldn’t stop talking about a girl he saw at the bar, but when we looked down, she was gone.   “Maybe we will see her later” I tried to reason. After about an hour Marcus said I should go talk to Emma who was now located at the second bar that we could see from our table. I looked down on her, but my eyes traveled to the blonde sitting next to her. “Does anyone know who that blond girl is, that is sitting next to Emma?” All immediately looked down but shook their head no. Except Ian. “Hey that’s the girl I talked about earlier, the one from the bar!”
