Chapter 6

                  Alice POV

                            A month has passed but no strong information can be get about Haider. Like really he is such a smart boy. I was in my room Doing some work when mom Came in. "Alice, here this dress. Wear it in the evening قا" she said and make me confused. "Why, Mom"I asked her. She give a soft smile which alarmed me that something is fishy. I stared at her." some sweet people are coming in evening. They are very important to me. So please be a girl and wear it"she said. I am confirmed something is fishy and mom is not going to tell me so I thought to find out about it in evening. I nodded. She left me in dazed in my room. 

                           I was working on my second gadget. I love to make gadgets. I caught the sight of clock and found its going to be evening. I looked at the dress (shalwar kameez) in light purple with white dupata. It is a traditional dress in Pakistan. I wore it and my hairs nearly in a bun. I hear some voices from downstairs. I moved to down. I saw a old female of about aged near fifties and an old man with about sixties. A young man with handsome face was sitting in between the old couple. The age of young man would be near 30. 

                              "ohh my sweet baby, come here" mom Said to me and give me a surprise. I walked near them and give hallo to them and sit beside mom. They were looking at me like I am a piece for sale and they are here for buying me and having a check. I felt so uncomfortable. 

                              "hallo Alice daughter. Come here and sit with me" Old lady said to me. I stared at her and then walk towards her and sit beside her. She start asking about my cooking skills and other activities and I was giving her answer like a good and ideal daughters. I have figured it out that they came here for my marriage proposal. I'll handle mom later first them. Like I want that old lady asked me to show my house to his son. Now I'll scared him. 

                                 We walk upstairs. I take him to my room to show it. He was enjoying it. I locked the door and start staring at him. He looked at me and blushed. Like seriously why is he blushing. Is he a girl. Well let me start my acting. "Hallo Mark" I said to him. His name is Mark. He again blushed and nodded. "Actually mark I want to say you something that I am... Umm... Ammm.." I as saying but was cut by him. "feel free to talk. We'll be partners after marriage so tell me" he said to me. Like seriously hahah partners. I would rather die. 

                            "Thanks. I am actually lesbian. I mean you should not have any problem with the relationship of me with my bestie. I am in love with her. When we get married me you and my love will live together" I said shyly. OMG look he is confused and shocked. Hahaha sorry boy but I am not ready to marry. He start moving down I followed him obediently. But the next thing is beyond my expectations. I thought he would go home and tell his parents about it but he said it right in front of my mom. 

                          "Mom, dad let's go. I don't want to get marry hwr" mark said to his parents and I was acting heart broken. "what happened mark son. She did something wrong but don't mind she always like this" my mother said. OMG please mark don't tell noooo. "she is lesbian and I don't want to a lesbian" mark said and drag his parents out of house. Now me and my mom are left. I am damn sure today I'll again taste his shoes beat due to her expression. I was about to run when shoe land directly at my back. 

                           " Ouch, it hurts mom" I said to her and was about to take a more step mom grab me by my hand. She pull out another shoe. "you are a lesbian. I'll tell you what it is" mom said and beat me two more shoes. After that she let go of me and sat down in sofa. "Mom look, I'll got married whenever I'll be ready. Please don't force me. I love you" I said to her. She looked at me and hug me. 

                          "Alice I want you to be married and happy with your husband after that I'll die in relief" mom said to me. Tears burn my eyes as I held her hand. "Mom, I won't let you die. You'll see me happy with my husband and you'll paly with my three little children. Now stop talking about death" I said to her. We were in hug when my phone rang. I ran to my mom and pick up the call. 

                      "hi Alice. Are you alright? Why didn't you come college today?" mariam asked in one breath. "hey mariam actually my mom wants me to get married so she called some guest which is why I have to bear absence in my attendance list" I said to her. "ohhh that's Mean that men would be dead. You must scared him" she said and we both start laughing. Yes I told her about it ever time. This was not the first time that I scared someone. We talk about other things and they we bid bye to each other.
