"I want you to announce your engagement soon..." Dad declared.
I was taken aback. I know that I begged him for this just a week ago, but now that it is almost in my grasp, I don't know how to feel. One thing is for sure. I wasn't happy about how things were escalating so quickly.
Now I know why they say be careful what you wish for...
I glanced at Sebastian and saw his blank face. I gulped. I felt something cold drop into my stomach. I don't think I can take this.
"Dad!" I hurriedly exclaimed.
"If that's what's necessary Sir," he spoke almost at the same time.
"Dad, we can't do this. Sebastian said that he had already done damage control to the issue. And you also did the same thing. I'm sure that the fire it created will be doused in no time," I frantically explained.
