"Is everyone in place?" I asked the team leader on the phone while buttoning my inner shirt.
I've been restless for weeks now. I hired more men to ensure Elinor's safety, but I still couldn't relax knowing that Samantha was out there, just waiting for the perfect chance to ruin our lives.
I didn't know how our almost perfect relationship turned out like this just because of that woman. And that woman is none other than Liz's mother! Liz, who was literally the sweetest little girl that I know. How come she came from that villainous woman?
I met Liz when I tried to run from everything that hurt. My mom had just recently died at that time and I was heartbroken by Elinor's indirect rejection.
I have always loved her. Even at a young age, I knew that she was the one for me.
