"Good morning," I greeted Carol when I went down the next morning. I'm in a better mood today, probably because I had a good night's sleep.
"Good morning Liz. Your breakfast is ready," she answered.
"Where's Dad?" I queried while checking the food she had prepared.
"He went out early and didn't want to interrupt your sleep," she said while busying herself assisting me on the table. I can do things on my own but they love fussing about me, so I just let them. They were just following my father's orders.
I remember what we talked about last night. I should have woken up earlier and asked what the problem was. I gasped when an idea suddenly struck me!
Why should I wait here when I can visit him at the company? I don't know where it is but I can just ask the driver to take me there!
