I walked back and forth in the guest room like a caged animal, my thoughts moving quicker than my steps. Walking on the plush carpet silenced my footsteps, which was very different from the anticipated cold concrete floors of the cells.
"What is happening?" I murmured, repeatedly running my hands through my hair.
