I arrived at the training facility before dawn and plans for Sasha's training were already running through my head. Kai, my inner wolf, was unusually alert.
"He'll be here soon," he growled, anticipation coloring his thoughts.
I suppressed the rush of excitement his words had caused. "Focus," I muttered to myself. “We have work to do.
I busied myself preparing my equipment and tried to ignore the tingling sensation in my skin. When I heard the door open, I knew it was her without turning around.
"He's here," Kai growled. "Doesn't it smell divine?"
I took a deep breath and immediately regretted it as Sasha filled my lungs. Like sunshine and strawberries, with an undercurrent of something unique to her. It made my head spin.
“Good morning,” she called, her voice sending a jolt
