Dawn's POV
When Levi told me to follow him, I knew there was no way to avoid talking about what had just happened. We walked through the hall in silence until we reached his office. He opened the door and waited for me to go in first. I stepped inside and stood near the table while he closed the door behind us. The room was quiet except for the faint sound of the wind outside from the open window.
He came around the table and faced me. “Sit,” he said.
I sat down slowly. My heart was still pounding from everything that had happened. I didn’t know what he wanted to hear, but I decided to just start from the beginning if he eventually asked.
