Dawn’s POV
Levi’s hand closed tightly around my wrist as he pulled me out of Wayne’s cabin. I tried to pull away, but his grip only grew stronger. Some pack members standing nearby turned to look, but no one said a word. Their eyes followed us as Levi dragged me through the woods, straight toward the pack house. I wanted to scream for him to stop, but I knew it would make no difference.
When we got behind the pack house, he finally stopped. He turned around so fast that I almost stumbled into him. “So that is where you have been going all this time?” he shouted. His voice filled with anger.
I took a deep breath. “Yes, that is where I was. You do not have to shout.”
“Do not tell me what to do,” he said. “You have no idea who that man is, Dawn. You have no idea what he is capable of.”
