Dawn’s POV
I woke up early the next morning, unable to stop thinking about everything that happened the night before. My mind kept replaying every word Levi said, every time he held my hand, every moment of that kiss. I had barely slept, but I still dragged myself out of bed and went to the laundry area. Naomi was already there, folding a pile of sheets. I never really understood why she worked like the rest of us when she was the Alpha's sister. I guess she just didn't want to be alone, just like most of us.
She glanced up as soon as she saw me. “You look like someone who hasn’t closed her eyes all night,” she said.
I sighed and basically dumped myself beside her. “Because I didn’t.”
She tilted her head. “What happened? You’ve been quiet since last night.”
