Dawn’s POV
I walked slowly toward the sound that had caught my attention. At first I was not sure whose voice it was, but the moment I stepped closer, I recognized Wayne’s voice first. It was deep and filled with anger, I held my breath and moved nearer until the words became clear, and suddenly I felt as if the ground under me had vanished.
Wayne was shouting at Levi and even though the tone was filled with anger, there was something desperate in it.
“Levi, you need to stop lying to yourself. You are a cheat and you know it. You used her. You did it because of your desire for revenge and nothing else. You never loved Dawn.”
