Dawn’s POV
Levi’s silence after Sarah’s words was terrifying. For a moment, no one dared to move. His entire body tensed before he turned sharply, his voice ringing through the woods.
“When did this happen?”
“Not long ago,” Sarah said. “The guards found her cell empty. The team from the council was the last to check her.”
Levi let out a loud growl. “Get everyone back to the pack house,” he ordered, but no one seemed to move, till he shouted. “Now!!”
He turned and started walking away. No one followed him, not even the head warriors. The sound of his boots against the ground was loud and quick. He didn’t look at anyone, not even me. I had never seen him this angry. He didn’t even shift, though I could feel that he wanted to.
