Callie I STARED UP AT THE school. It grew more imposing with every step, but I didn’t care. I wanted to run towards it. This place had never been a home to me, always a prison, but I would have given anything to be safely back inside it. Instead, I was about to be forced to attack. Ben took his time, his pace unhurried as he approached his former home. Elijah brushed the back of his hand against mine. “You okay?” he murmured. I gave a single nod, not daring to look at him. The prophecy was still strapped to my stomach, and I wrapped my arms over it, reassuring myself. “Do we have a plan?” he asked.
