He too was clapping but a smirk played on his lips. It was as if he was proud. Thinking that it made me blush and my heart flutter. After a moment or two I regained composure and waved at everyone. I slowly came downstairs still smiling and waving. When I reached the bottom of the stairs everyone gathered around me trying to get my attention. It was as if I was a famous celebrity. I didnt like it one bit.
Everyone started talking all at once and I found myself nodding and smiling even though I wasn't paying attention.
" Sorry to interrupt the conversation, but I need to talk to my daughter." My mother said from behind me. I sighed in relief and excused myself.
