Sawyer POV As we were eating dinner, I could tell that Lucy was extremely nervous and tense. She had had a whirlwind of a day: first, she found her mate, tried to run away from him, accepted him, faced down a bigoted Council member, thought her father betrayed her and was now anxiously waiting for him to announce his plan to keep Lucy in her position.
