I felt a presence in the room once I peeled my eyes open. The room was dark which was strange because I remembered leaving the lights on before going to bed last night. I knew where I was, and remembered just how I got here, alright, so it could not be my mind playing games with me, as I was fully awake now.
I wasn't sure whether to sit up, or pretend to be sleeping still. I did not want to show that I was scared, or awake even, to whoever or whatever was lurking in the room, and at the same time, I did not want to invite whoever him or her any farther into the room by sitting up.
What if the person was only waiting for me to wake up? What if the pack was haunted by some beast, and the beast had just visited me?
I shivered a little as these thoughts ran through my mind. Dylan
