Amara continued to run. She could see nothing but the shadows of trees and plants. Drenched by the rain, her pain was indescribable, piercing deep into her heart. She remembered it was the same when her family was massacred in the palace. She also ran through the dense, dark forest in a heavy downpour. The difference was that there were no soldiers chasing her to kill her, yet she felt a repetitive ache in her heart. She ran, tears streaming down her face.
