CHAPTER 26

Mating, Marking, Rejections part 2

Overwhelmed by the unexpected comradery amongst her 2 mates and Warlock Leah knew without a doubt this union between the 4 of them would work its way out. Justice had already proved his Loyalty to the bond without even thinking about, he could have kept what he knew about Lacey and her mate a secret and not acted this would have eliminated Nox but he couldn't do it, Justice felt compelled to protect this union.

Lacey fell to the ground in front of Nox tears falling down her face acting like the victim " I was tricked I love you no matter what your status" she lied whilst dramatically crying. Leah could no longer take it anymore and her wolf wanted to rip Lacey to shreds, "You have 1 minute to shut the hell up before I rip your throat out" Leah growled, This was a side of Leah only her parents had seen and they knew she meant business.

Lacey stopped crying instantly but made the mistake of standing up and wrapping her arms around Nox, before he could remove her Leah had Lacey by the throat and against the wall. Alpha looked at Max both men looked at Leah with pride but then realized it was best to save Lacey as she was visiting from another pack. The last thing Alpha Zane needed was unrest between him and his long time friend Alpha Haze. Aliyah and Luna looked at their mates mind linking to hurry up and save the girl.

Alpha used his Alpha Tone on Leah trying to make her release, his tone which all in his Pack had no choice to obey had no affect on Leah what so ever.  Alpha surprised but impressed looked at Max and shrugged. Max quickly approached his daughter "Leah honey put her down quickly we need her alive" Max spoke with urgency as Lacey was turning blue . Leah dropped Lacey on the ground "Touch what is mine again and you die instantly" Leah warned. Lacey lay on the floor gasping for air. Stephano took Leah's right hand in his whilst Nox took her Left, Justice made his way standing behind her arms wrapped around her waste all trying through their bond to calm Leah.

The boys moved back to the couch Leah sat on Justices lap whilst the Clay boys sat to the left and right of her. Luna was on the ground assisting Lacey finally color was coming back to her face. The room was silent, Alpha Zane mind linked Lacey's Mate Curtis to come to the office he needed to deal with the Lacey situation quickly if Curtis accepted Lacey then she would have to become part of his Pack which was problematic as Leah would be future Luna and with her new found possessiveness of her mates he did not think Lacey would survive long.

Curtis knocked and entered the office he saw his mate looking some what disheveled but she was now sitting on an arm chair next to Luna , He bowed to his Alpha and Beta with a curious look on his face, "Curtis thank you for coming so quickly, we have been informed that Lacey is your mate but she has not Rejected or Accepted you is this correct?" Alpha asked.  "This is correct Alpha I very much wanted to accept her immediately however she explained that she needed time to break up with Lennox so she asked me to wait which I have" Curtis responded. Lacey looked at Nox knowing she had been well and truly caught out. "Lacey would you like to explain the truth to your mate or would you have me do it" Alpha asked.

Curtis looked at Lacey then Alpha Zane, He then focused his attention on the quad sitting on the couch with Leah at the center and the 3 males all touching her. "I think some one should tell me something cause as far as I can tell Lennox has found his mate and accepted her" Curtis finally said. Alpha Zane looked at Lacey she dropped her head so Alpha proceeded to inform Curtis of his mates wrong doing at hearing this Curtis's eyes filled with hurt and anger with in seconds of Alpha finishing he stood before Lacey " I Curtis Spellman Reject you Lacey Redmond as my mate". He then stood yelling at Lacey to accept " III Lacey Redmond accept your Rejection Curtis Spellman" she managed to stutter out under her shameful sobs at this Curtis motioned to leave the room Leah jumped up and stood in front of Curtis she placed her hand on his chest her mates growled with disapproval of her touching an unmated wolf, Justice laughed at them patting them on their backs to calm them he knew Leah was casting healing to help Curtis with the heart break he would feel once his anger had subsided.

Leah completed casting looked up at Curtis and said " If you need an ear I am a great listener" Curtis looked into Leah's eye's seeing her sincerity he smiled genuinely at her "If you ever decide on a 4th mate I am available" Curtis chuckled as he spoke those words forgetting the fact that his life was very much in danger from Leah's mates. Leah let out a laugh " I am sure I already have more than I can handle now" Curtis winked at her still hurt but no so much angry any more and left the office.
