CHAPTER 8

Dinner Time Part 2

Alpha Zane while still chuckling at his youngest son formally greeted his guests so that they could begin eating, dinner was going well there was good conversation laughing and good food. Stephano and Lennox both caught themselves checking out the mesmerizing sight across the table from them which was Leah they even caught one another checking her out they smiled widely at each other then laughed quietly while hitting one another’s shoulders. The boys watched Leah unashamedly intrigued by her out of the box actions.

Leah unaware she was being watched realized that while casting her hair tie had broken loose and hair was everywhere, her eyes darted around the room looking for something to hold her hair up, she looked over at the girl sitting across the table she noticed the girl had not used her disposal chopsticks, Leah picked up a paper napkin screwed it up into a ball and threw it at the girl, In shock it hit the girls face Leah motioned and mouthed “my bad” Leah then whispered to the girl who was still in shock, “can I have your chop sticks” the girl passed them across the table Leah winked and nodded at her in appreciation.

Stephano, Lennox and now Lacey watched this most unusual person as she took the chop sticks started wrapping her up with them then maneuvered the chopsticks so they were making an x at the back of hair holding it in place. Lacey was stunned she had paid money at salon to have her hair styled like that and here was this strange girl opposite her doing her hair with chopsticks in no less than 5 minutes. After the main courses were over the group agreed to go to the living area to wait for dessert to be served and to give their stomachs time to settle.

Andros held Leah’s hand as he escorted her into the living room Max and Aliyah looked at the Alpha and Luna then back to Andros, they all chuckled Luna whispered to Aliyah “It looks like Andros is not the only one of my sons that is smitten with your daughter” she cast her eyes over to Lennox and Stephano Aliyah’s eyes followed Luna’s and saw all of the Clay boys watching and looking at Leah, Both women giggled. At that moment Aliyah caught a glimpse of Lacey she too was staring at Leah, but her eyes were not kind, Aliyah watched as Lacey’s grip tightened around Lennox’s arm. Aliyah chanted a quick spell to protect her daughter from negative energy then engaged back in conversation with Max the Alpha and Luna.

Stephano realized that Leah had not been officially introduced to Lennox or Lacey, He walked over to Andros and Leah and cleared his throat then asked Andros, “Excuse me but could I please steal your future mate for a second she hasn’t been introduced to the others yet” Andros said without looking up “sure but bring her back quickly” as he continued to play his game. Stephano and Leah chuckled as they walked over to Lacey and Lennox. Stephano made the introductions first Lacey and then Lennox.

Leah shook their hands then looked at Lennox’s face for a few seconds and smirked, shocked at her expression he said “what do I have something on my face” Leah laughed “no just you look a lot like my future Mate” Stephano and Leah bent over laughing.

 Lennox and Lacey however stood their shocked Lennox was about to put Leah in her place and explain why she couldn’t be his mate but before he could Andros came over winked at Lennox and said, “I see you have met my future mate” Lennox then understood Leah’s Joke and also starting laughing but a little awkwardly. Lacey looked at Lennox glaring, he quickly straightened up and quietly explained “Leah was joking because Andros calls Leah his future mate and well Andros and I look very similar except for our eye color” Lacey loosened up slightly but still didn’t like it.
