CHAPTER 15

BOY TALK

Leaving Leah the boys made their way home, Nox and Stephano walked in their front door feeling tired but also feeling a sense of completeness neither of them had felt before, They both flopped side by side on the couch Nox felt the presence of some one behind them, before he could say anything Lacey walked around the couch looking down at Nox. “where have you been, I’ve been worried sick” Lacey said with her hand on her hip. Nox sighed “I needed to chill and catch up with my brother, you know boy talk” Lacey’s eyes narrowed as she glared at both the boys “well then how come I can smell the scent of she wolf on you” before Nox could answer Stephano jumped right on in there “oh that would be Leah” he smirked at his brother.

Lacey raised her voice “what the hell was she doing with you”? Stephano thought he better throw his brother a bone and help “She was with me smell my clothes if you don’t believe me” Nox Mind linked his brother with a thanks bro. Nox retorted “are you happy now” Lacey smiled and nodded. She quickly spun around and said Luna is taking me shopping for my birthday, so I will leave you two alone and with that she spun on her heels and left.

Stephano looked at his brother knowing full well he was still thinking about what Leah had said at the waterfall. Stephano patted his brothers arm, Nox looked at him, Stephano said “our little wolfy caster is quite something isn’t she, even without a mate bond she is so easy to love and fall in love with” “Proving dangerous” Nox replied. Stephano smiled at his brother “I think we are falling for the same girl” Nox arched his eyebrow “I’m not sure but I do have an overwhelming desire to protect her”. “As do I” Stephano replied. “Bro how amazing is she when she casts” Stephano says with a reminiscent look on his face. Nox replies “when she talks when she smiles when she walks when she breathes” Stephano looked at Nox both boys laughed out loud.

Tired and weary the laughing subsided both boys caught up in their own thoughts about the weird beauty they met the night before they couldn’t help but feel that they were all bonded somehow, It felt as though they had known each other all their lives. With these thoughts in mind holding their chests big smiles on their faces they slowly drifted off to sleep.

Both boys woke up to darkness they had been asleep for hours and had woken to the sound of small snores next to them, They looked to the left in unison and there was Andros curled up on the couch next to them the boys smiled at their little brother, Nox stood up and picked up their baby brother to take him to bed on his way to Andros’s room, Andros sleepily looked at his brother and in a tired whisper he protested “I want to keep watch with you and Stephano”. “Is that what you thought we were doing on the couch” Nox replied as he chuckled.

Stephano’s mind went straight to Leah he wondered if she was awake and if she was what was she doing?
