CHAPTER 21

NOT YOUR MATE!!!!!

Justice held Leah’s gaze he only broke it when he unashamedly started to cast his eyes over Leah’s accentuated curves his lips tugging up into a smirk. Leah now became very conscious of the dress she was wearing and how her body was filling it out. Alpha gave the two girls the floor to speak without hesitation Lacey began with what seemed like a long winded very rehearsed speech compared to Leah’s “Thanks for celebrating with me and yeah that’s it”.

Alpha Zane looked over at Lacey she had been given permission to shift with his pack for the first time by her Alpha Haze. Zane got the entire pack to make their way over to the woods for Lacey’s first shift all except Leah he did not want a repeat of the occurrence that happened only an hour ago.

Nox was nervous he knew Lacey was not his mate but he could not bring himself to tell her he knew once she shifted she would know they were not mates, Nox was now faced with the task of rejecting Leah and accepting Lacey knowing no matter what Leah had Stephano and potentially a Warlock as an eternal bond he didn’t think she needed him too at the same time his pull towards Leah was much deeper than any Mate bond he craved her she was like an addiction he couldn’t break.

Lacey dropped to her knees as her body began to slowly contort and change she screamed as the pain began to became unbearable for her, Leah watched slightly amused but also grateful that she didn’t have to go through that torture she was at that moment very grateful to her mother for her witchy lineage and kissed her mothers cheek Aliyah knew exactly what Leah’s affection was for and she smiled at her daughter. The rest of the coven were making faces and were also very puzzled as to why this shift was so different to Leah’s. Aliyah could feel her Coven’s curiosity and new the questions would come hard and fast once they were all alone. Lacey’s transformation was complete she was very unsteady on her paws she looked like a new born deer trying to find its feet, As Lacey steadied herself she admired her light brown wolf she had white paws she strutted around getting ready for her first run.

Alpha Zane gave the command for the pack to shift so they could run and hunt with Lacey, Leah forgot to cover her ears and yet somehow Alpha Zane’s Alpha command did not affect her Leah looked at her mother searching her mother’s face for answers, Aliyah looked at her daughter and shrugged her shoulders. It was an amazing sight for Leah to see her whole pack in wolf form she was filled with pride as she watched but she was also a little pissed off that she could not join them.

Leah and her coven went back to the grand hall and continued to celebrate on their own until half an hour later a very frustrated Nox showed up with Stephano hot on his heels, on his way through the grand hall while following his brother Stephano grabbed Leah’s hand pulling her with him. Leah was not at all shocked by Stephano’s actions she had grown accustom to the Clay boys dragging her around the place even though they had only known each other for a short period of time.

The three of them had made their way out into the forest Garden Nox pacing up and down Stephano rubbing the back of his neck at a loss as to how to comfort  his distressed brother, Leah looked at their behavior tilted her head “So Lacey knows she is not your Mate Noxy boy oh dear oh dear” Leah tried to keep her amusement off her face and out of her tone. Stephano looked at Leah “Ah Not helping”, After hearing Stephano’s words she could not contain her laughter both Clay boys were shocked at her outburst but stopped to look at her Nox now glaring at her.
