Nox broke the silence and asked Leah “your big nights coming up are you nervous”? “Not at all, I’m excited” she responded. Nox tilted his head “is it cos of the possibility of finding your Mate”? Leah laughed “that might be typical of ordinary she wolves but as you can clearly see I am not ordinary I’m bad ass” they all laughed again. Stephano looked at Leah “yes you are but explain to us what you mean” Leah thought carefully and then said “I don’t have a dominant side I am perfectly balanced both wolf and witch they are equally as strong as each other” she continued “with that said I am not too sure how the mate bond thing will work with me nor what my mum calls the eternal covenant that witches have, I have to leave that all up to the Moon Goddess”.

Both boys nodded with appreciation at her explanation. Leah turned her head and addressed Nox “So Nox my friend what’s the deal with you and Lacey,” and don’t try not to tell me either I just spilled my guts now it’s your turn”. Stephano smirked as he looked at his brother. Nox sighed and talked about his relationship with her and the promises he made to her and he explained the love he has for her, Leah listened carefully she smiled then chuckled under her breath. Nox came out of his deep thoughts raised his eyebrow at her and said, “what is going on in that pretty little weird head of yours”.

Leah looked at him “I’ll tell you but don’t get pissed off ok” Nox looked at her cautiously not really knowing if he wanted to hear what she had to say “Okay?” Leah repeated Nox finally said “Okay”. “well my friend to be honest you are a loyal mess who the hell makes promises that they are not sure they can 100% keep, Like dude what if miss thing is not your mate, for you especially you have to get it right, after all you are going to be Alpha of this pack one day and with the Wolfy loyalty to your pack you would weaken the pack if you did not take the Mate the Moon Goddess provides, So Good Luck with that ”. “Oh, and also don’t piss the Moon Goddess off she loves me and my mum, but I am not sure that either of us could save you if you piss her off”.

Stephano mind linked Nox “Bro she’s got a point our beautiful little friend here is very wise in a comical kind of a way”. Nox breathed in a deep breath then breathed out deep in thought considering the words he just heard. Stephano was also deep in thought of the cold words Nox spoke at his Party they rolled through his mind “I’ll Reject Her”. The silence was now awkward. Leah stood up took note of their surroundings the sun was coming up and she was hungry she looked at them and in a loud voice said “come now boys snap out of it lets go to my mum and dads to eat”.

Both boys stood saluted Leah and they began their journey back through the woods, Leah stopped turned back to the cabin the boys followed, she giggled stopped and said “I forgot to cast” Leah began the boys watched once again mesmerised by the beauty in front of them mind linking once again saying things like “bro we are in trouble never going to get sick of this sight” Leah finished and they set off again.
