As the echoes of applause faded in the Calculus classroom, Danny turned to Ethan with wide eyes, his expression a mix of awe and amusement. "Ethan, my man, I always knew you were smart, but you just blew my mind! You're like a genius, super smart!" Danny exclaimed, his admiration evident in his voice.

Ethan couldn't help but blush at the praise, feeling a sense of pride swell within him at Danny's words. But as he tried to bask in the glow of his accomplishment, Danny's attention shifted, and Ethan could sense mischief brewing in his roommate's gaze.

"And what was that reaction when Hannah walked in, huh?" Danny teased, a mischievous grin playing on his lips. "You couldn't take your eyes off her!"

Ethan's cheeks flushed even deeper at Danny's teasing, his naivety on full display for his roommate to see. He had hoped to keep his newfound infatuation with Hannah a secret, but it seemed that Danny was far too observant for his own good.
