They spent that night in the Aiprorian City. There was no fire and no food but, strangely, Jules and Ghia did not feel cold or hungry. Jules wondered about this and got a short answer from Rosa that he barely understood; suffice it to say the Magi cities ran on ancient powers that had effects on Terrans, apparently. He and Ghia were the first Terrans ever to enter the cities, Rosa also asserted, so she'd had no idea there would be such an effect until now.
Ghia was truly Terran now. Rosa had told him everything while they searched for a place to spend the night, Ghia still unconscious and in his arms. She had Magi genetics, unexpressed.
