She wore possibly most of the clothing she'd packed; he could feel multiple layers on her leg, the topmost of which was her favored peplos. Around her shoulders was a thick, warm cloak made of leather, furs and wool. Its bottom edges were muddy but then, he was sure his cloak looked no better. Her hands were clad in leather gloves and around her neck wound a knitted scarf of warm and soft alpaca, made by an artisan in Atton. He though he spied a sweater, made by the same artisan, under her peplos. Despite all this, she was shivering. He gave her a hand as she dismounted from her horse and she embraced him for a long moment before answering his question. "Uneventful, but tiring all the same. And I was sorely lacking for well-cooked camp food. I hope you've saved some of your stew for me.
