I stood up for the umpteenth time pacing around while waiting for any sign of Lorena to appear from the forest. I wanted her to return so badly that I couldn’t stop thinking about her. If she were to return, it would mean that she would become my concubine but at the same time, I blamed myself for letting her go when I knew that she could be attacked.
‘’your highness,’’ Romeo called for me and looked around me as if he knew what I was searching for. ‘’She will be fine and I can assure you that the royal guards are watching over her. Put your mind at rest, she is going to be fine and…..’’
