Emily's POV:
Emily was giving her last tour for the day when Mrs. Claire, the most insufferable woman she had ever met, showed up with her group of tourists. As soon as she heard Emily speak French, she scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"Let's see how good your French really is," she sneered.
Emily tried her best to ignore her and focus on the tourists, but every time Emily made a mistake, she would snicker and make a rude comment.
When one of the tourists asked Emily a question in French that she didn't understand, Mrs. Claire pounced on the opportunity to humiliate her.
"Looks like your French isn't as good as you thought it was," she smirked.
