Emily sat on the bench in the garden, lost in thought. She couldn't shake the feeling of the kiss she shared with Jack. It was like a fire had been ignited within her, but she didn't know why.
Suddenly, a flashback hit her, and she was back in the car with Jack, the wind in her hair and the thrill of danger coursing through her veins. She could hear her voice, frantic with fear as they tried to outrun someone. But then everything went black.
