It's been exactly a week and I haven't still left my room. I already got better two days ago but the thoughts of leaving the room scared the hell out of me so Henrietta kept coming to see me and also keep me company.
“I think I'm ready to leave the room,” I said to her as soon as I finished my lunch. She had a look of shock that she quickly masked with an assuring smile.
“Are you sure?” I nodded.
“Yes. I've been here all week”
“Ok then. Let me take the dishes away and give you some time to prepare” I stopped her.
“No. Wait. I want to make food before we leave”
“What for?” She asked.
“To apologize” I replied like it was very obvious what I wanted to do with the food.
