Olivia had just come home after going out with Ethan all day. She seemed tired.
She walked past Daniel in the living room. Daniel looked at her in a very strange way.
“She’s probably seeing someone else,”
he said to himself, as he took his eyes off Olivia and looked down at his phone.
“Do I even care?”
Straight into the room, Olivia hopped in the shower.
“The battle has just begun,” she mumbled.
Back at Ethan’s place, he sat on the bed, running through his mind the thoughts of what had happened earlier that day. He was a little confused about how Olivia had asked him how he bought his house.
“Well… ladies. Probably she’s just curious,” he said, as he lay on his back.
“I do seem to be so drawn to her now. I enjoyed our outing today. She’s really amazing and nice.”
Smiling uncontrollably, he grabbed his phone and sent a message to Olivia, forgetting that he had to message Daniel, his brother, about the deals they had with the drug lord. Olivia had already occupied his mind.
“I really had fun today, sweetie.”
While Daniel waited impatiently at home to hear from Ethan, he was already on cloud nine chatting with Olivia.
Daniel didn’t understand why Ethan had still not texted, even though he said he would. Their brotherly bond seemed to be going over a cliff already. But he kept telling himself that maybe he was just busy with the emergency he had.
He walked straight into the bedroom.
“Oh, I said it. She’s already cheating on me. Ha ha. I don’t care,” he said as he saw Olivia smiling and giggling on her phone.
He climbed onto the bed, pulled the blankets over himself, and drifted to sleep. Olivia stayed up almost half the night talking to Ethan.
The next morning, Olivia woke up so late she couldn’t get to work. The sun was dim; it looked like there was going to be a storm.
“Oh well, I’ve slept a lot,” Olivia muttered, raising her legs from the bed as she headed into the shower.
Daniel had already gone out. He went to Ethan’s, confused about how he had been acting weird lately — dropping his calls and always coming up with excuses.
“Ethan, what’s been up with you lately? Got a new girlfriend? I thought we’d stay grounded with each other. We’ve got to gird up our loins,” he said, as he sat on the sofa quietly sipping a beer.
Ethan stood there, unsure of what to say.
“Yeah, right. The drug lord actually texted me yesterday, but I was busy with my old mate’s hospital stuff,” he lied. Daniel had no idea what the truth was.
After a second thought, he nodded in agreement.
“All right, Ethan. Let’s get moving.”
Ethan rushed into his bedroom, grabbed his phone, and texted Olivia that he had to take care of a few things real quick and would get back to her as soon as possible.
He put on a nice suit and walked out of the bedroom, with his phone held tightly in his pocket.
“We can go now,” he said, leading the way.
Olivia was still in the shower. Her curiosity grew more and more after Ethan messaged her saying he had to take care of a few things real quick.
“Probably he’s doing this with Daniel.”
She wanted to find out what it was they had been doing behind closed doors.
Out of the shower, she got dressed.
“Can I join you, Ethan?” she texted him.
“No, no. I’m with Daniel.”
Oh yes, finally her assumptions were right. He was with Daniel, and she wanted to know what it was they were going to do. She was getting closer to revealing everything hidden by those two.
INVISIBLE WEAPONS.
“I’m not feeling so well, darling. I wish you’d be by my side,”
Olivia texted Ethan, waiting for his response
“We could meet when I’m done with this, Liv”
Seeing this, Olivia quickly opened her wardrobe. She was going to search for the sexiest dress. Her plan was to make Ethan feel so good and convince him to tell her all the hidden plans he and Daniel, his brother, had been working on.
“I can do this, Olivia,” she whispered to herself, as she looked into her wardrobe searching for the dress.
“Oh yes, this would be nice.”
She took out a red dress, looking more like lingerie — transparent and daring.
She prepared all her stuff and lay on her bed, recounting what to say and how she was going to convince Ethan.
“I got him the first time; I feel he’s already into me. I’d definitely do this, and in the end, you’ll realize you’re the real fool, Ethan,”
she said, while looking at Ethan’s picture on her phone, giggling on the bed.
Back with Ethan and Daniel, Daniel drove while Ethan looked at his phone every passing second.
The car pulled over at a very huge building painted black. It was such a tall building, looking more like a skyscraper. Ethan got out of the car and put his phone in his suit.
“This way, sir.” One man with a beard all over his face, wearing a red T-shirt and jeans, ordered, with a gun in his hand.
Daniel and Ethan followed him into a big room. Human skulls were placed all over.
Over a long chair sat the drug lord, puffing his tobacco as though it owed him.
He took a quick glance at Ethan’s shiny shoes and smiled disdainfully.
“Did you bring the money?” he exclaimed, as he got out of the chair, approaching them.
“Give us a few weeks. We’ll sell off the property and have the money back to you,” Daniel said, tension in his voice.
“Give what? Two weeks? What the hell are you talking about, you piece of s**t!” the drug lord shouted, puffing his tobacco and holding Daniel by his cheeks.
“Look, I’m giving you one week. Get the money back to me or I send both of you to hell! Now, get out of here.”
He pushed him to the ground and got back on his chair.
Without a second thought, Daniel and his brother Ethan walked out of the building, got into the car, and drove off.
Olivia, back at home, had just finished dressing up to meet Ethan. She was waiting impatiently for his call after long hours of anticipation. She had painted her lips with some nice lip gloss.
As she walked up and down the vestibule, Ethan called her to meet him. Quickly, she walked out and flagged down a taxi. As she was about to get into the taxi, she saw Daniel’s car approaching.
“There he is, always busy moving around,” she whispered to herself.
Olivia couldn’t wait to meet Ethan and do whatever she could so she’d get information about what was really going on between the two brothers.
The taxi pulled over at the same hotel they had gone to the first time. She got out and saw Ethan standing by the wall.
“You okay, darling? You look disturbed,” Olivia asked, rubbing her hands around Ethan’s face.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just tired. But I had to meet you.”
“You’re so sweet, darling. Come on, up there.”
Both of them walked up the stairs into the hotel, booked a room, and went in.
“So where did you go that you look all tired?” Olivia asked, approaching Ethan and raising her dress a bit to catch his attention.
“Oh… just to meet a few friends for a drink.”
“You fool, you think I believe that,” Olivia thought to herself, as she began rolling her hands over Ethan.
“Let me get you a drink.”
She walked up to the counter and came back with a beer and two glasses.
“You take this,” she said, pouring the beer into it for Ethan as she looked at him romantically. Ethan seemed induced by her seductive eyes.
She waited for Ethan to take the drink and got on top of him.
Olivia seemed to have placed something in the drink. Ethan was already losing control after drinking. He seemed to have completely gone drunk.
“Can you unlock your phone for me, darling? I want to take a picture.”
Without a second thought, Ethan unlocked it, giving it back to Olivia. He had completely lost control of himself. Quickly, Olivia got into his text messages with Daniel.
“Yeah, gotcha,” she said, flipping through older messages.
“What!” she screamed a little, getting off the bed and straight into the shower with the phone. She continued flipping through the messages.
“Oh yeah, this is your plan after all these years. How the hell did I not know what he’s been doing behind closed doors all these years?” she said to herself as she flipped through the messages. She had gotten to know that Daniel and his brother were into selling illegal drugs.
Dumbfounded, she kept flipping through. One message caught her eye; she flipped back to see it.
“HOLY HEAVENS!” she shouted.
