The viewpoint of Pamela (Pam)
Since it was my special day, I nodded and let her continue. She cried, "Ouch," "Sorry Princess." I muttered, trying to speak out loud, "Just think Leah this is it, the big day." That meant the entire farce was ended. She gave me a nod and started pulling at the satin rope around my waist.
I could hear the silky cloth scraping against my rough robe, which had genuine stones placed from the waist down. The shirt was sleeveless and reached the waist. It had a black stain heart shape. The soft satin felt cool on my skin.
Her smile relaxed, "All right, done," I leaned down and gathered up the front of my dress so I could get off the pedestal and whirl around once or twice. I applauded loudly when I saw what I saw. I turned to face her and exclaimed, "Oh I love it Leah, you are a miracle worker." She was sitting quietly on my bed, smiling at me.
I nodded, paying heed to her warning. "I know I'm your maid, but you need to use caution tonight, Princess. Everyone will be visible because of the full moon." Leah, my maid, took on the role of mother to me when my mother-in-law died. I stepped up and surrounded her slim, small shape with my arms. Taking a step back to look her in the eyes.
Her black eyes have seen more years than mine, and her skin is marred with deep wrinkles from all the seeing. Her sunken cheeks lifted somewhat as she smiled and glanced away. She wiped away her tears and stood up, saying, "Well, we don't want to sit here and make you miss it." When her voice faltered a little, I gave her another embrace and added, "Your mother would be proud."
Eventually, we parted ways, and I gave Leah one last glance and held her hand. We proceeded down the stairs and out of my room. I spotted my father in the lobby, and he looked wonderful and attractive. When I walked down the stairs, my father was waiting for me with wide arms.
He was the tallest guy I had ever seen, at six feet and 290 pounds. His beard gave him a frightening aspect. But when I was a youngster, I knew him as a huge teddy bear. He added, "Oh, I'm so proud of you, dear," with a unique and booming accent.
I leaned in closer and peered around as I held him more securely. There was a lovely fragrance. "Daddy, please come on, let's go outside," but all I got was a loud chuckle as he placed me down on the ground. I took him to the doors and stepped inside into the warm July evening.
We both nodded in agreement as the soldier added, "The full moon is approaching my king." He pointed in the other direction and said, "I'll be with the elders; your friends are down the ways." I gave him a hug and observed, "They have something special for you anyway." He grinned as I went away.
I skirted a stalled truck and sank into the dense greenery and shadows. The aroma of burning wood and smoke, the sound of crackling fire, and the warmth of the fire all reminded me that my friends were here. So where were they all? Twice around the fire did I turn. I stared around in the dark and saw nothing. To tell the truth, all I saw was this fire. What's occurring place? When I noticed that no one was around, I strolled back towards the castle. Everyone was gone. I was not particularly happy with this.
I felt that this was my big day. I eventually decided to attend to my big event. It was also a mistake since they weren't there either. I let out a sigh and sat down on the log for a moment. It was the same fire, entirely blocked off from any other activity, and it wasn't a tiny fire either.
I gasped, dropped the tiny stick I had discovered, and kept walking.
"SURPRISE!" was screamed as a powerful pair of arms wrapped around my waist. Everyone laughed and applauded from the bushes. I hid my face out of embarrassment.
I was so thrilled when I exclaimed, "Happy birthday!" and everyone applauded. It was difficult for me not to grin. I was smiling so hard that it was hurting my cheeks. His face brushed against my neck as powerful arms emerged from behind me. I had the regular warm fuzzy sensation when he gets here.
Happy birthday, Pam!"Murmuring, Mason nearly made me forget that I needed to find a mate at the beginning of the countdown. My wolf couldn't help herself and stated that his wolf was being seductive, even though I knew his voice sounded good.
"Pretty stunned, huh? I let my head fall back into his neck and let him rock me back and forth.""I didn't believe anybody was here when it was filled with people not too long ago," the speaker agrees.
Holding my hand, he turned me around by gently pushing me away. "Well, think if every nation had a princess as beautiful and kind as you. Furthermore, it would be simple to convince the public." He stated this while dragging me back into him and drawing my back into him with his hand while retaining his other hand around mine on his chest.
I laid my head on his chest as we danced together, unable to truly descend because we had to keep ourselves in check while the Elders were around. I studied him, smartly dressed in a black suit, and he said, "Nice dress," stepping aside slightly so I could get a better look. "Thank you, you don't look bad yourself."
After a quick two-second pause to snap photographs, we gathered back together. "Are you ready? He nodded and questioned, "It's true that I'm a little nervous," now asking in a more serious tone.
Having said so, he took me beyond the masses of people into a clearing where my father was grinning warmly. "Ah there she is, the guest of the hour! Oh don't worry about those, meeting your mate is a good thing."When he says, the audience exploded in pleasure.
He held my face tenderly and said, "Let me start the countdown by saying, we as a pack will support you, love you, and never abandon you Pamela." The audience nodded, and I shed a single tear. "And with that let's us begin! He roars off, leaving me alone in the circle.
Okay, so you can find your love, reconcile with your wolf, and enjoy a happy life.
Pam's viewpoint
When my heart started to slow down, I took a deep breath and tore off the puffy part of my dress, leaving only the heart-shaped shirt and a small skirt underneath; I also removed the hairpins and let my hair fall to my waist, even though I should have clipped it because my fur would be long and shaggy.
Leah scooped up my clothing and offered me some scissors, which I hurled from me, pulled off my skirt and top, and stood there just in my underwear. I sliced off my hair, allowing it develop into a magnificent haircut, in a matter of seconds.
I turned at my father and motioned toward the watch tower; he nodded back to them and the group started counting down.
ten, nine, eight." I felt a flood of heat travel through me as my teeth clinched. My hands flew up and I stumbled back from the terrible hammering in my head. Everything I saw was hazy, and my body was burning. I had to focus; I stood there, unmoving, letting the anguish to run through me. What attributes may a wolf possess?
I grasped my eyes, my fur, and my side as I moaned in anguish. My voice was stilling, "7...6...5..." I yelled out and dropped to my all fours on the ground. I was losing control of the misery, so I closed my eyes as if to shut it out. I snarled and groaned as I grasped the earth beneath me. As I heard the crowd gasp, I experienced full numbness on my left side.
Mason was fussing when I opened my eyes, so my bones must have been cracking. He didn't seem to be able to keep his feelings buried. I slumped on my side and stretched out for him, yelling again. What seemed like an earthquake had no way out.
Someone exclaimed, "The Phase is almost over," as I squinted my eyes to view the moon. I felt a burst of exhilaration. I lifted my hand and fur sprang. My cries were evolving into whimpers, growls, and barks. I moved onto my side and felt the ache subside.
"4...3...2..." As soon as I opened my eyes, the torment almost totally evaporated. I stood up awkwardly but slowly.
"1." I howled as I felt it rupture within my stomach.
** The next feeling I felt was inexpressible; all I could do was scream and feel my wolf take charge and locate her mate. I glanced around, smelling at everything. Nobody said; they merely moved aside when called upon. Mason attempted to approach me, but my dad interfered.
"Hmm, my Wolf," he muttered, and I paused to stare at him. I was astonished, to be honest. Though I had heard tales of them talking to you, I never thought them to be genuine. I noticed everyone I wanted to see but was unable to see as I surveyed the throng. I gave up on using the elevator since it would have taken too long and ran to the pack house instead. I walked up to the higher level to the royal residence. I walked to the left, toward the male side. I smelled every room. I gave myself a heavy blow.

It was so good that I wanted to chomp on it completely with my teeth. That's when it struck me, I still haven't arrived at Mason's door. I went ahead and watched it. My wolf stopped panting and sat down.
It looks that we spotted him very early on. Why my wolf had merely halted at Mason's door was beyond me. He could not be my mate since his mate died a long time ago. He is one year my senior. My wolf had made up its mind, and it could not be altered.
