*Audrey*
I ran out of the house in tears and walked right outside the gate. My entire body was visibly shaking due to the tremendous times I had cried out. I still could not believe what had just happened, still wishing it was a dream that I would wake up from and everything would be back to normal.
But this is no nightmare, everything is real.
Claire, I still can't believe that Claire would do this to me. I really thought we were best friends.
No! I shook my head in disbelief, trying to reject the fact of what had just happened already.
As I continued to walk away from the house, I had no sense of direction about where I was heading, my brain seemed to have stopped functioning, allowing my broken heart to take control of my body.
I walked down towards the highway, not really sure if it was the highway, but because I could hear the sounds of cars and their lights flashing at me, I thought of it to be the highway, yet I continued to walk forward.
In one instance, I could hear the sounds getting closer and the lights flashing brighter, like it was coming towards my direction.
I turned my head just to glance at the oncoming flash of light, and in the flick of the moment, my body crashed against the coming car and darkness drowned my consciousness.

I held my tab in my hands, flipping through the list of documents that needed my signature and checking for any errors that might cause a problem for the company.
"Have you checked with the design team for the next batch allocation?" I asked my driver, Andrew, who is also my beta.
"Yes Alpha." He said.
"And what did they say?"
"They said the next batch of designs would be for the spring collection."
"Spring collection?" I scoffed.
"Well, tell them that if they can't provide another set of designs for the summer, they should pack up and leave the company."
"Yes Alpha." Andrew replied, though he wanted to say something else, but hesitated.
The car returned to its previous silence, and I continued with my work as Andrew drove us to the mansion.
~Bang~
I heard a loud crash, Andrew suddenly hit the car brakes with force, bringing the car to an abrupt stop, almost causing my head to hit against the car glass.
"Are you still learning how to drive?" I asked him in anger.
"Sorry Alpha, I just saw someone crossing the road and I think I might have hit the person. Let me check on it."
Andrew opened the car door and stepped out to check on the person. I calmed my frustrations and also stepped out to see who it was.
"Well?" I asked Andrew as I approached him. Right on the floor I saw a young girl with white hair lying unconsciously, tears seemed to run down her eyes. Maybe she got hurt or something and that's why she was careless on her way.
Her white hair was already stained red with the blood that was coming out from her head. She might have gotten a head injury due to the accident.
I turned to Andrew with a cold voice, using my Alpha's aura to suppress him, "Were you blind while driving? How come you did not see her?"
"I'm sorry Alpha, she suddenly jumped in the way, and I wasn't able to stop the car on time." He bowed his head as he responded.
I signed in frustration, "Just forget it, it has happened already." I said to him, waving my Alpha's aura, which allowed him to breathe in relief.
"Bring her to the car. Let's take her back to the mansion to treat her wounds. And call Travis to prepare his medical kits and wait for us in the chambers."
"Yes Alpha." I turned around and walked towards the car while Andrew carried the injured girl and brought her over.
"Place her in the back seat, I'll stay in the front passenger seat." I said to Andrew and entered the front passenger seat while he placed her in the back, keeping her head steady, so the blood wouldn't continue to flow out, before coming back to the driver's seat, and we continued on our way back to my mansion.
As he continued driving, the car passed by a speed bumb and bounced up a bit. I turned to check on the girl and her head had already fallen off the seat, dangling on one side, and the blood on her head started to rush out again.
"Stop the car." I said to Andrew, and he immediately parked on one side of the road.
"Is there any issue Alpha?" Andrew asked me, but I did not even reply to him as I stepped out of the car and entered the backseat.
Sitting on the side where her head was placed, I raised her head up a bit and placed it gently on my lap, removing my jacket to suppress the blood flow.
I don't even know why I'm doing any of this. Maybe it's because my conscience made me feel guilty about the accident, even though it's not entirely my fault.
After I was down and placing her head comfortably, I looked up to Andrew and I could see the shock written all over his face at the way he was staring at me with his eyes wide open.
But I did not seem to even care about his reactions, I just told him to continue driving, "Drive slowly."
"Yes Alpha". He turned his head back on the road and continued driving.
~Alpha's Mansion~
On getting to the mansion, Andrew slowly parked the car and I carried the girl out of the car in my arms in a bridal style and walked towards the house.
"Let me do it, Alpha." Andrew came to me to carry the girl from my arms, but I told him to just open the door, "Don't bother, just open the door."
He quickly sprinted to the door and opened it for me.
Stepping into the house, I walked to the chambers and saw Travis already waiting with his assistant.
