While the Chens finished their presentation, Piper reported William arrived at the address where Xiu was being held just ahead of the PPD. The four Red Dragons who kept Xiu company were quickly subdued and tucked into the back of the patrol cars. William followed the ambulance to the hospital and, with the personnel he knew on shift, arranged to be notified of the outcome. He made a quick call to the Chens and let them know Xiu could have visitors tomorrow.
“Good news,” Piper said, “Alright, oh eight hundred debriefing. Teagen, 9 AM is your formal interview with William. Assuming that goes well, you and Austin are off to Cancun at 4 PM.”
