WICKEDNESS

" The perpetrators of this heinous crime will not go unpunished" Queen Beatrice was screaming on top of her voice as she cried and lamented about the death of her husband. The police has just informed the entire house household about the assassination of King Leo. there was weeping all over the kingdom and the palace walls shook from all the weeping and noise, the crowd was overwhelming. All of a sudden   "I know the people that did it, I over heard Queen Peace, her daughter and first son Prince kingsly planning it, I warned the king but he dismissed it as a mare accusation" Beatrice screamed as she pointed at Queen Peace, Princess Ugonma and Prince Kingsly. " It is true,  my brother called me to tell me about it but i never knew they are capable of caring out their wicked plot" . This plot was hatched to eliminate her three arc enemies especially the prince the hair apparent to the throne and before any one could utter a word, she ordered the police  to arrest them " Arrest them, arrest them , we are not safe with them in this palace" she cried, shading crocodile tears. " She is lieing, i am going no where" screamed Princess Ugonma.  " Calm down. Ugo , everything will be all right since i know we are innocent of her accusation" Prince Kingsly said in his usual calm and calculated style of talking " innocent my foot" Beatrice shouted,  " officers please take these  murderers away"  " Mummy this is not fair" Tricia and Susan echoed holding their mother Beatrice   . " Leave me stupid girls, I don't know what she gave to you all, that even now you all are on her side" she scolded them ." My children, please let us go with them, God will vindicate us, how can I plan to kill my husband the love of my life, the father of my children" Queen Peace lamented as she followed the police. the rest of the other royal family was dumb founded especially at their uncles confirmation of the plot to kill the queen but they  had their doubts.

   Prince  Jude came back the following day, having been told what happened, he still an undergraduate studying law at the university. His first response was to call the family lawyer, little did he know that he too has been pocketed by Queen Beatrice. The lawyer eventually came and said "Well i will bail them but, we will conduct proper investigation afterwards." he turned and left. It was two days before they were released and the trauma has really affected the health of Queen Peace as she was rushed to the hospital from the police station. Kingsly's condition was not getting better and had to go back to the orthopedic hospital. Queen Beatrice has every thing under her control, She quickly contacted her hench men Judas and his team as her palace security claiming she feels unsafe and sacked the old guards.. With them no one goes out or comes inn without her consent. " Enough of this madness , I am not taking it any more" Queen Ugonma shouted one morning. All allowances has been withheld by Beatrice who instructed the company to stop paying money into the family accounts but diverted all funds since she is now in charge. when she was told by her guards what Ugonma said,  she told them to tie her up without food for days in one of the rooms. 

     In this state of utter confusion, the kingdom was divided into two, some in support while the few that are not in support of her ways are too afraid to speak up. As Ugonma was tied up, no food no water. this is about the second day, her siblings started asking questions and Queen Beatrice told them that she has ran away out of guilt conscience . Tricia in particular found that had to believe but was now too afraid to say anything because the last time, her mother got her flogged mercilessly.. Gaged mouth, hand and legs Ugonma could not make any noise and while she was there, her evil step mother has contacted the  old king from the neighboring village that the father was owing. " My king, as you are aware, my husband King Leo is late and I am aware that you lent him some money to the tune of ten million dollars" she said. " Yes yes, but you don't expect me to loose that amount of money, I am going to confiscate the company" he said angrily. "My king , we are willing to give you our most priced possession my king " she intuned softly. " And what is that if I may ask, my Queen" sounding interested.  "Our jewel , our princess, the beautiful Ugonma, you know she is the most beautiful and is worth more than ten million dollars my king"   " You mean you will do that for me, oh I will love that, infact forget the money. when is she coming, today?" he said with a wicked enthusiasm, grinning at the same time. " Patience, patience my king, she will be with you tomorrow night. please know that as a young girl she will not be too happy with this arrangement." Beatrice said smiling to herself know what she is going to do next. she has long waited for a day like this when she will deal decisively with the princess. " I understand my Queen, bye bye." he dropped the phone and shouted, this calls for celebration.
