Suddenly, I felt like I was being jolted by an electric current. His inquiry infused all of it with a s****l undercurrent. Looking down the hall toward his bedroom from the kitchen's empty space turned him on greatly. My mind raced toward the target, and the beat of the goal rang in my thighs. An unfinished bottle of white wine was decanted into the refrigerator, and as I reached for a clean glass from a nearby cupboard, my fingers trembled with excitement. I poured myself a small glass, took a deep breath, and walked slowly to my bedroom, completely oblivious to the photo of David's graduation hanging on the wall in the living room.
