Years passed, and Princess Alara watched proudly as Mira grew into a talented young inventor. The kingdom thrived under Rowan’s Workshop, now bustling with apprentices and artisans, each inspired by Rowan’s story. Mira, especially, was beloved by the kingdom, her skill and kindness echoing the spirit of the man she honored. She wore Rowan’s watch as a symbol of hope, a reminder that even those with a troubled past could find redemption and purpose.

But not all shared Mira’s vision. Unbeknownst to Alara and her people, a mysterious figure named Kaelen—a former follower of Malric—had been plotting in secret. Kaelen believed that Rowan had unfairly stolen his place in the kingdom's history, and he despised the admiration Rowan’s legacy continued to receive. Driven by jealousy and resentment, he vowed to destroy Rowan’s influence once and for all.

One cold evening, Kaelen infiltrated the palace and slipped into Mira’s workshop. There, he found Rowan’s watch, glimmering faintly under a candle’s light. With a twisted grin, Kaelen snatched it, believing that he could use the watch’s power to taint Rowan’s legacy.
