After getting home, Nathan planned to give Cynthia a Mind-clearing Spell to help her recover from the day's events. But as soon as she got inside, she quickly retreated to her room, still clearly shaken. Nathan thought about going after her, but it was almost time to pick up Abbie, so he decided to let it go for now.
When they got back home, Abbie quietly sat with her picture book while Nathan headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Just as he finished cooking, Andrea and her parents arrived home as well.
Seeing the table full of delicious dishes, Lisa couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow, everything looks amazing! And more than half of these are Andrea's favorites. Nathan, there's no need to make so much food when there's just a few of us!"
