5. When the reality hits hard

'My back hurts maybe because of the fall. Ahh my back' she was walking to her favourite place in the park while busy in her own thoughts. She heard the quietness of the night which was fueling her thoughts 'maybe it was a bad discussion to came here' she thought and sigh. She was very tired physically and emotionally. 'What should I do with this gun? should I go home? is it even my home?' she was thinking, eyes tired half open, she wasn't looking ahead she was looking at the ground. Her legs lead her to her favourite spot. She look up only when a cold wind hit her.
To her surprise she saw a man, standing there looking at her.Hair black as a dark night, eyes shining deep ocean blue, pink lips parted like he wants to say something, fair skin, very tall like 6'9 to 9, muscular body not bulky but attractive to her. First time in this night her mind went blank.But before she could react she was in his arms, her face on his chest listening to his wild heart beat. Her favourite smell hit her nostrils. The smell of the rain when it hit the dry ground. She inhale deep. She felt 'peace, safe and home'. Surprised by her own thoughts but suddenly she lost contact of his body, she whimper.
"No it can't happen, I can't be mate with a human" he growled.
'Did he just growled?' she thought.
"Human" he said more like he spat. She was confused.
"What is your name?" he demanded. His chest was heaving up and down.
'Huhhh.......' she thought confused by the sudden change. Such a fast change she couldn't understand what is happening.
"What.is.your.name.?" He said through gritted teeth.
She shivered like someone throw a bucket of ice water on her. The sweet feeling was gone.
She look into his eyes, his eyes held anger. His expression was like he is betrayed. Looking at his expression now she felt betrayed, she felt heartbroken and she doesn't know why she felt like this.
Anger consumed her.
She took two step towards him, looking him in the eyes, holding his collar she said, "You don't DESERVE to know"
Why she said that? she doesn't know....
Why she saw hurt in his eyes? she doesn't know.....
Why she left the park? she doesn't know..... Why she hoped he will stop her? she doesn't know.....
Why she is feeling heartbroken and warm tears slipping from her eyes? she doesn't know......
