18. One Month

After Thalia left the Alpha's room she went straight to her room, and was surprised to saw Luca standing in her bedroom.
Thalia: Luca....what are your doing here?
Luca: I'm here to talk to you Thali.
Thalia: What do you want to talk about?
Luca: I want you to predict someone's future..
Thalia: Luca....what you are asking for is forbidden.
Luca: I know, ......It's forbidden in Ethysha but we are in Earth.
Thalia: But......
Luca: Technically Ethysha's rules shouldn't work here. So tell me Thali you'll help me or not?
Thalia: *Sigh*..... I'm gonna need the person's something, like hair or jewelery or nail or....
Luca: Clothes?
Thalia: Clothes will work too.
In Alpha's room Valerio and Rosalyn was eating their lunch.
Rosalyn: Mmmm....It's tasty.....
Valerio look at her lips and said..
Valerio: Yes it is.
Rosalyn face turned pink again. To change the topic she asked..
Rosalyn: When will you all leave for Ethysha?
Valerio look at her, 'what dose she mean by You all?' he thought.
Valerio: In two days and you'll leave with us.
Rosalyn hesitate. Valerio was looking at her intensely.
Rosalyn: Valerio.....
Valerio: Say it.
He had a feeling that she is going to say something which he'll not like.
Rosalyn: You know I have a life here too *She paused and look at him, his expression was blank* I will come with you but I have to settle something here first. And it'll take time.
'Time.....' The work echoed in his head.
Valerio: How much time?
He asked holding his breath.
Rosalyn: One month.
White of his eyes turn black, he stand up. Crusifiro took control of the body.
Crusifiro: ONE MONTH!!!?
His voice turned animalistic, deep with rage. Rosalyn was surprised with the change but hold on to her ground.
Rosalyn: Crusifiro?
She said standing up.
Crusifiro: No MATE, I can't wait for one month. You'll leave with us in two days.
His chest was heaving up and down. He was pacing right to left. The thought of waiting for one month enraged him. He can't live without her one day. Rosalyn approach him with cautious stapes. Standing in front of him she touched his cheek with her right hand and touch his shoulder with left hand. She rub her thumb on his cheek and said.
Rosalyn: I'll miss you too Crusifiro. But I have to settle things here to leave with you happily. I don't want my past to interfere with our future. Look at me Mate. I can't stay without my other half. But I have to do this for a better future. If I can't cut the strings of past how can I give us a future.
So I'm ready to take the pain of separation for a month.
Crusifiro just looked at her, their was pain and hope in his mate's eyes.
Crusifiro: Valerio has a kingdom to take care of he can't leave his kingdom unprotected for a month. But we can't leave you too...I can't....
Rosalyn: Shhhhhhhhh.....I understand. Do it for us Crusi please.
Crusifiro's face was sad. His voice broke...
Crusifiro: Mate....ma....te....
He said hugging her tightly. Rosalyn felt his body relaxing then his voice changed again.
Valerio: Mate.....what will take you one month? if it's the financial problem then I can help...
Rosalyn: No Val, it's not money. Some relationships needs to taken care of. I have to say goodbye to some people.
Valerio Sigh.
'She has a family here, she has responsibilities but still she decided to leave everything. Even though she is a human she is ready to sacrifice so much for our bond. She deserves the time. I have to respect her decision' Valerio thought.
Valerio: Okey. I'll leave two days later but I'll be back twenty-eight days later to take you.
He said with a sad smile touching her face.
Rosalyn: Thank you for understanding.
Valerio kissed her passionately, Cherishing every second. He was sad but he was ready to wait for her.
Knock knock.
There was a knock on the door.
Knock knock.
Knock knock.
Rosalyn try to stop him but he didn't stop.
Suddenly the door opened with a bang. Valerio stop, he went furious holding Rosalyn in his arms he roared.
Valerio: HOW DARE YOU?!?
Luca standing there shocked with Thalia. They both quickly kneeled on the floor, heads down.
Luca speaks first but didn't dare looking up.
Luca: Forgive us your highness but there is a message from Ethysha. My Lord, King of Vampires Lord Emrick suddenly visiting our realm.
Valerio: What's That Bloodsucker Doing In My Realm?
Thalia: We don't know sir but your presence is requested by Lord and Lady Night.
Luca: If your absence in Ethysha got known by others I'm afraid som.....
Valerio: Prepare for leave.
Luca & Thalia: As you wish my Lord.
Luca & Thalia left.
Valerio look at his mate who was looking at him. He said with a heavy heart.
Valerio: I need to leave today.
Rosalyn: It's ok Val....See you After one month.
She said looking at his red eyes. He pressed his forehead with her.
Valerio: Be safe and wait for me.
Rosalyn: Promise me one thing Val.
Valerio: Anything Flower...
Rosalyn: You'll always be true to me.
Valerio look at her eyes, they want comment.
Valerio: I Valerio Callan Night Alpha King of Ethysha promise you Rosalyn Scarlet Heart my Mate, my Luna I'll always be true to you.
Rosalyn hold his face and kissed him softly.
10 minutes later Thalia came in with Rosalyn's dress. It was a dark blue off shoulder long dress with black heels. Rosalyn change her clothes in the bathroom, took her purse and when she come out she saw Valerio wearing the same blue shirt that she was wearing.
Valerio: Flower you look beautiful.
Rosalyn: Well someone was right about the size.
She said jokingly and he laughed.
Valerio: Close your eye....
Closing her eyes she said...
Rosalyn: Are you going to kiss me again?
She felt something cold touch her neck. Then a soft pair of lips touch her lips.
Valerio: Always were this pendent. Never loose it, okey?
Opening her eyes she replied.
Rosalyn: Okay...
It was a double chained pendent with golden chain and a red diamond shaped diamond.
Valerio touched the wall beside him and opened a portal. Valerio pick her up in bridal style and walked into the portal. Rosalyn hold him tightly. They came out inside the park they first met. The portal closed. Still in his arms Rosalyn said..
Rosalyn: I thought you were a werewolf.
Valerio chuckle dryly.
Valerio: I am but every King of Realm has the power to open portals to enter any Realm or any place.
He said while walking towards the bench.
Rosalyn: Cool....
Valerio: Did I mentioned my grandmother was a witch?
Rosalyn: No you didn't...
He sat down on the bench and sat her on his lap.
Valerio: Because of her I have the witch's blood inside me so.....
Rosalyn: So you can use magic too.
Rosalyn complete his sentance.
Valerio: Yes...
He said, his hand was on her smooth weavy scarlet hair.
Rosalyn: Let's meet here one month later this time.
Valerio: You just said what I wanted to said.
She stand up from his lap and said pointing at a place.
Rosalyn: I was standing there.
Valerio stand behind her and said.
Valerio: And I was standing here.
She look up and saw the sad face of her mate.
Rosalyn: Be safe my prince charming. I'll be waiting for you to take me.
Valerio smiled a little and kissed her forehead.
Valerio: One Month my Love.
The portal open behind him and he step back into the portal still looking at her.
Rosalyn: One Month.
The portal closed.
