7. Fate or Pride

Early Morning 5:00am in Hotel room
"No, no I'll never accept this. A HUMAN MATE" The werewolf king growled, "I'll die mateless then having a HUMAN MATE" the King spat those words.
"My king calm down ........please...... You have to calm down....." requested a curly blonde hair man with sky blue eyes.
The King: Luca, this can't happen Luca. Why would the goddess mate me with a HUMAN????
His voice shook the walls. Luca(the curly blonde hair man) sigh.
Luca: My Lord, as your Beta and best friend I'm requesting you to calm down. If you don't calm down I can't found any solutions.
The Beta found his Alpha king at 4:30am in the morning, standing near a pond with red eyes looking at a path in front of him.The Alpha's chest was heaving up and down, fist clenching and un-clenching like he was trying very hard to control his wolf. He knew something must have happened. But never in his life he thought his Alpha finding his mate here.
The king: I can't accept it Luca. A pathetic human will never be a Luna. I can not give my kingdom a weak creature like human as a queen.
Luca: Alpha....
The King: I will reject her.
The Alpha King said with finality.
Luca took a deep breath, to prepare himself for his king's rage and said.
Luca: No wolf can question Moon Goddess's wish. The Goddess chose a human for you so their must be a reason. And your rejecting her means going against the Goddess.
The Alpha King look at his Beta with surprise in his beautiful sea blue eyes then rage took over. He grip his Beta's throat and hold him up in the air.
The King: HOW DARE YOU.TO TRY TO MANIPULATE ME. A HUMAN WILL NEVER BE MY MATE.
Luca was hanging in the air, face red , gasping for air but he manage to say..
Luca: You... you are bli... blind with pride....you are questi....questioning goddess's wish...how.. how.... dare.... you.....?
The Beta managed to say and the King's face change from rage to surprise and then realisation hit him and he remove his hand from his Beta's neck.
Luca fall on the ground gasping for air. The King look at his hand and then his Beta.
The King: Luca....*sigh* forgive me my friend......I......
Luca: Stop fighting it.....*still gasping* stop fighting the bond and your wolf. The goddess created her only for you and created you only for her. You want to reject her because she is human what if she wants to reject you because you are a werewolf. Think my friend. I also despise Humans but.....*taking deep breaths*....I will accept her if she is your mate because I believe in my Goddess, she has plan for everyone.
The King: Luca I don't......
Before the King could finish what he was saying his beta said....
Luca: If I was in your place I would've give our bond a chance but you are not me.....*paused*....You are the Alpha King who already have a wife.
The King look at his Beta with disbelief in his eyes. He clearly understand what his Beta is suggesting.
The King: You mean.....?
Luca: Yes.
