“You won’t let me see what you’re gonna do to the guy— aww, that f*****g hurts by the way,” I grimaced. Decker didn’t respond. His eyes were clouded with an emotion I didn’t know. And he was calm. Too calm. He had asked what was happening. Buggy explained. I passed out halfway and woke up to alcohol over my face. I looked at Buggy who was now quietly standing in a corner. “Hey, I don’t care what he told you but I’m glad you didn’t join in—” He grabbed my jaw all of a sudden and forced my face forward so I was looking at him. “Stay.” “Ouch.” But it didn’t hurt. Not really. Decker’s face was laser focused on cleaning me and I… I had butterflies in my belly fluttering all around. It was taking all of me not to let out a giggle. “So… the weather, huh?” He let go of my face and stood.
