I couldn’t find Remy Calloway. I asked Wolf, Slink, Buggy, even f*****g Diego but no one knew where she was. I didn’t ask Cole, I didn’t want to look him in the face. Not after feeling relief that he hadn’t hurt Remy. After I found her last night and brought her back to the cabin, she slept off instantly but she held me tight so I couldn’t move. I cleaned and changed her clothes— and because I worried she’d choke on her vomit, put her where I could watch her. I knew she had her clothes and her room… but it was the first time my room ever had any semblance of life in it. And I didn’t hate the thought of sleeping anymore.
